The Idea

Our story started in 2018 in downtown Toronto when I was a condominium corporation board member and I shared with my friends Karim and Firas the difficulties we were facing while managing the procurement process for our own building. The three of us got together and hopped onto a journey to find a smart and sustainable solution to this problem which led to the foundation of “Condonuity”.

After reaching out to many condo board members, we concluded that the majority are disappointed with the procurement process of their own corporations as well. One of Condonuity’s goals is therefore to address condo board members’ top concerns: the lack of transparency, the difficulty in comparing offers, and the ability to keep an audit trail of the award decision. Our platform also allows board members to connect with their peers in other corporations to ask questions and share knowledge.

Along the way, we discovered that contractors too had challenges. They too want to simplify the bidding process, and they want to reach out to as many condo corporations as possible to promote their services and increase their market reach. Contractors are also interested in learning more about their clients’ wants to deliver superior services. In response, we worked hard to provide contractors with a platform that serves as a means of communication to reach out to an increasing number of corporations.

Condonuity.ca was born to overcome both condo corporations’ and contractors’ challenges and to help them conduct business more efficiently.
